Objective

The objective of block ten is to discard pairs that add up to ten, and face cards in pairs, until only tens are left on the tableau.

Setup

Deal out nine face up cards to a 3x3 grid to form the tableau. Place the remaining deck face down to form the tableau.

Game Play

Ace has a value of one. When two cards in the tableau have a combined total of 10, discard both cards, then refill the empty tableau spaces from the stock. When two matching face cards are in the tableau, for instance a jack and a jack, discard both face cards and refill the empty tableau spaces from the stock. Game play continues until there are no more available pairs to discard.

Tens may never be discarded from the tableau.
