How to Play Block Eleven Solitaire

Block eleven solitaire is a one deck simple addition solitaire game. Block eleven solitaire is easy to play, but with a low chance of winning.

Block Eleven Solitaire Rules

Objective

The objective of block eleven is to discard pairs of cards that have a value of 11, until only face cards are left on the tableau.

Setup

Lay out three rows of four face up cards to form the 12 tableau piles. If a face card is dealt into the starting tableau, remove them and place them at the bottom of the stock, replace the empty tableau slots with new cards from the stock. Repeat this process until there are no face cards in the tableau. Place the remaining cards face down to form the stock.

Game Play

When two cards in the tableau have a combined value of 11, discard both cards from the tableau. When cards are discarded from the tableau, fill in the empty spots from the stock. Jacks, queens, and kings may never be discarded from the tableau.

If there are no more pairs able to be made in the tableau, block eleven solitaire is over.

7-4
6-5

To Win

To win block eleven solitaire, the deck must be depleted, and the entire tableau must be made up of face cards.
