The objective of double fourteens solitaire is to remove pairs with a combined value of 14.
Deal out 18 tableau piles. The first 14 tableau piles are dealt 6 face up cards each. The other 4 tableau piles are dealt 5 face up cards each. Each tableau pile Should be splayed down to see the cards in each pile.
King: 13
Queen: 12
Jack: 11
2-10: Face Value
Ace: 1
The top card of each tableau pile is available for play. When two available cards have a combined total of 14, discard both cards. When a tableau pile becomes empty, it is not filled. Play continues until all cards are discarded or there are no more moves.

To win double fourteens solitaire, all cards must be discarded in pairs that have a combined total of 14. If the player runs out of moves before all cards are discarded from the tableau, double fourteens solitaire is lost.
