Bisley solitaire is a difficult solitaire game using one deck of playing cards.
| Players: 1 | Type: Solitaire | Supplies: 1 Deck |
The objective of bisley solitaire is to build the four ace foundation piles up in suit and the four king foundation piles down in suit.
Remove the aces from the deck and use them to form the four ace foundation piles. Deal out the rest of the cards into twelve tableau piles, with four face up cards each splayed down.
As kings become available, they are moved to start a king foundation pile. Ace foundation piles are built up in sequence
in suit, and king foundation piles are built down in sequence in suit.
Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play either onto another tableau pile or onto a foundation pile. Tableau piles may be built up or down in suit. Empty tableau piles are not filled.
To win bisley solitaire, all cards must be in the foundation piles.
-Zigzag course solitaire is a similar game that uses two decks.
