How to Play Black Hole Solitaire

Black hole solitaire is an easy to learn and play solitaire game. Kids would be able to learn black hole solitaire relatively quickly.

Black Hole Solitaire Rules

Objective

The objective of black hole solitaire is to get all cards into the single foundation pile by adding the next highest or next lowest ranking card of any suit.

Setup

Take out an ace and place it in the center. Shuffle the rest of the cards. Make 17 piles of 3 face up cards each, splayed outwards, in a circle around the ace.

Game Play

Only the top card of each tableau pile is available for play onto the center foundation pile. To add an available card from a tableau pile to the foundation pile, it must be one rank higher or lower, regardless of suit. Aces may be played on kings and kings may be played on aces.

The Game continues until there are no more moves.

To Win

To win black hole solitaire, all cards must be played on the middle foundation pile.
