| Players: 1 | Type: Solitaire | Supplies: 2 Decks |
The objective of beetle solitaire is to build eight sequences from king to ace in suit in the tableau piles then move them to the foundation piles.
Deal out ten tableau piles face up splayed down. The first four piles have five cards each, the remaining six piles have four cards each. Place the remaining deck face down to form the stock.
The top card of each tableau pile is available for play. Tableau piles are built down in sequence regardless of suit. A
card or group of cards in the proper sequence and of the same suit may be moved from tableau pile to tableau pile. A
king may not be played on an ace.
When a tableau pile has a sequence that has the king down to ace in one suit, that entire sequence is removed and placed above the tableau pile as a foundation pile.
Empty tableau piles may be filled by any available card or group of cards in a sequence that are all in the same suit. Empty spaces in the tableau must be filled before dealing.
When there are no more moves available, deal out one card from the stock on top of each tableau pile.
To win beetle solitaire, all cards must be removed from the tableau in sequence from king to ace in suit.
